CB Fibre Cement Cladding - Modern Geometric Home

We offer fibre cement panels with endless possibilities. Every project can be transformed into an artistic gem where creativity has no boundaries. The extensive standard range of colours can give every project a unique character. The panels are available in various standard sizes. Within these dimensions, majority of shapes can be cut.

Fibre cement is a high performance, light weight and low carbon footprint, composite building material. It is strong, durable and versatile which can be used across a range of applications.

Fibre Cement Cladding

Comprised of cement, PVA, cellulose fibres, aggregates and water, these cement cladding boards are available in standard and customs sizes. These flat fibre – reinforced cement panels, used in back ventilated and drained rain-screen cladding systems, provide a decorative and protective façade over timber-frame, steel frame or masonry external walls of new and existing buildings.

This strong and versatile range of cladding boards is ideal for use as an external facade panel and the naturally finished PuroPlus board that has been tested to CWCT standards. During the production process, all product waste including the dust from sawing and polishing are all incorporated into the next production process. Once a fibre cement panel reaches the end of its design life, it can be crushed and then reused in a new fibre cement production process. Cement fibre cladding panels combine seamlessly with several other facade materials, including facing bricks and stone that can be installed using a variety of fixing methods.

What are fibre cement boards?

They are made of a non-combustible, highly compressed material, consisting of a fiber-reinforced cement binder, which when cured is resistant to distortion and adverse weather conditions. Proportionately, the largest share of raw materials has a binding agent, which is Portland cement . Which is produced as a result of the combustion of limestone and clay marl. Admixtures are added to optimise the properties of the product, for example limestone powder and ground fibre cement (recycling).

Synthetic, organic polyvinyl alcohol fibres are used as reinforcement fibres. These are fibres that are used in a similar form in the textile industry for the production of outerwear and protective fabrics and for surgical threads. Their physiological safety is of great importance. During the production of fibre cement, the fibres used serve as filter fibres. These are mainly cellulose fibres, which are also used in the paper industry. They contain air, enclosed in microscopically small pores. As a result of using a system with a microporous structure, a frost-resistant, moisture-regulating, actively breathing, a waterproof building material is created.

Why you should choose fibre cement facade material:

  1. Resistant to the negative impact of bio-chemical factors.
  2. Simple assembly to the grate, which can be made of wood, aluminium or steel. Fastening by nailing, screwing or riveting.
  3. Eco-friendly, made of natural and neutral materials that are safe for our health and the environment.
  4. Resistant to temperature fluctuations.
  5. Resistant to heavy precipitation.
  6. Resistant to rotting, decay and fungal processes.
  7. Requires no maintenance.
  8. They have high impact strength, do not flake, do not crumble, do not crack.
  9. They do not deform under the influence of moisture.
  10. Non-flammable, withstands extreme high temperatures.
  11. Pest-resistant, withstands damage caused by pests.
  12. Perfect material for modern façades.
  13. Does not corrode.
  14. Lightweight design.
  15. High resistance to UV rays, the colour does not change over time.
Fibre cement boards are a very good option if you are looking for a modern solution for your home. Ecological with very good strength parameters and high resistance to weather conditions in the long-term period works perfectly. This choice is supported not only by the simple construction of ventilated facades, but also by simple assembly of elements, which in extreme cases can reach up to 3050x1200mm. The most important, however, is the visual effect that you can get from the range of available colours, textures and different dimensions of the boards, which allow you to create a really interesting alternative effect to ordinary plaster.
